I am a huge amateur music fan,I make no secret about it. My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing James Taylor in concert! Ty to our daughter who surprised us with tickets! When you see someone like him,you are hoping for the same experience as he provided us for years. We were not disappointed. His range and perfect pitch is still there, as an acquaintance of mine said "that was the fastest 3 hours of my life!". He had a great band and backup singers with him, each an accomplished musician or singer that are recording artists on their own. It was an awesome evening.
It reminded me of how quickly time passes and how precious so many things in our lives are. Spending time with your kids as they grow up,then the grandkids and as our parents age spending time with them and providing any help and support we can. Too soon all that is left are the memories. So my advice? Live in the moment. Take advantage of any opportunities that are provided for you. Travel if you can, See your kids, grandkids and your parents if they are still here. Make the most of the moments and opportunities you get. They may be small and ordinary to you now but long after, you will relish the memories.
Well that brings up another idea but I don't want to ramble too much,I tend to get ahead of myself with ideas. Too many to write at once.
Until next time, make memories!
